Corrections

How pricing issues get fixed

The fastest correction is a specific one: send the calculator URL, the provider source URL, and the number or claim that looks stale.

Priority

What gets checked first

Wrong price or range

Hourly GPU rates, min/max ranges, and monthly estimates are the highest priority because they affect the main utility of the page.

Broken or moved source

Source URLs are checked and replaced with the closest official provider page when a pricing page moves.

Incorrect affiliate status

Partner program status is updated when a public program page, referral policy, or link state changes.

Unclear comparison language

Copy is adjusted when a page overstates certainty, mixes incomparable SKUs, or fails to explain exclusions.

Process

What happens after a report

1. Re-check the source

The relevant provider page or documentation is reviewed before changing a number.

2. Refresh the data

The calculator JSON is updated through the pricing pipeline, then contract and guardrail checks are run.

3. Rebuild the page

The static site is rebuilt and the sitemap can be refreshed after a material pricing correction.

4. Keep the history

Pricing changes are logged in the guardian pricing log so future reviews can see what changed and when.
